Heavy rain developing this evening over Pastoral and Flinders districts.
Weather Situation: A significant upper trough and associated low are forecast to intensify over southern Australia today and through Tuesday. These systems are expected to combine with a deep, tropical airmass to produce areas of heavy rainfall with embedded thunderstorms.
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING may develop Monday evening and contract eastwards of the NSW border around midday Tuesday.
6 hourly totals of 40-60 mm are expected.
Isolated 24 hour totals of 100 mm are possible, with locally higher 24 totals of 100-130 mm about northern parts of the Flinders Ranges.
A Flood Watch will be issued for this event.
Locations which may be affected include Roxby Downs, Leigh Creek, Marree, Hawker, Woomera and Olary.
